About The Project

The Irrigation System Upgrades – Agriculture and Agrifoods project, initiated in 2024, focuses on improving irrigation infrastructure to better support local agricultural needs. This project includes the installation of extensive new piping systems, pressure-reducing valve stations, and multiple service connections. Additional work involves gravel road restoration and upgrades to the existing reservoir, enhancing both accessibility and efficiency for agricultural operations.

Project Highlights:

  • Supply and Installation of over 10,000 meters of high-density polyethylene (HPDE) supply mains and distribution mains to service individual fields.
  • Over 100+ 25mm to 50mm service connections to existing services.

  • Supply and Installation of two new pressure reducing valve (PRV) stations.

  • 8,000m2 of gravel road restoration.
  • Accessibility upgrades to the existing reservoir.
