About The Project

The Winner Quarry Project, completed in 2024, involved the construction of a sediment pond to support water management needs. Additional work involved placing and compacting sand over the liner and installing a large 1,800mm boxed concrete manhole with a sluice gate, ensuring proper water flow and control within the pond system.

Project Highlights:

  • 10,000m3 of excavation to onsite stockpile for sediment pond.
  • Supply and install pond liner, which included 3 layers – Nonwoven Geotextile, LLDPE Geomembrane Liner and Double-Sided Geo-Composite.

  • Place and compact sand on top of liner.

  • Supply and install 1,800mm boxed concrete manhole c/w sluice gate.
